What do kanye west shoes look like

Still, they're worth noting as one of the coolest Bapestas styles ever to hit the market. West combined an '80s sci-fi movie with a boat shoe and a colorway somewhere between the two. The results were interesting at the time, but in hindsight, these don't hold up as well as most of West's other sneakers. The most well-known silhouette of West's Louis Vuitton collaboration and which took the name of West's alter-ego "The Louis Vuitton Don," these kicks defined Kanye's mission to mix luxury materials with his favorite basketball sneakers.

Truthfully the Dons represent a unique moment in time for West's design aesthetic—but this colorway distracts from sneaker's cool silhouette. The Jasper doesn't suffer like the Mr. Hudson's do in that they're not also part boat shoe , but they do suffer from having not only one, but two straps across the upper. Combine those details with these aggressive color combos and this is one of the sneakers West didn't quite nail in hindsight.

The off-white Jaspers differ from the multi-color versions—they featured a thinner strap on the upper—which made them more wearable and more desirable than the louder versions of the sneakers. West wore the all-white version of the Mr. Hudsons during his VH1 Storytellers performance in and proved that when paired with the right gear namely, a suit they could look good in the wild. Consider that a win on all counts. Of every Yeezy Boost released, the trio of versions released in December of , consisting of "copper," "green," and "solar red" iterations, lack the buzz of some of the other styles.

Which is likely in part because all three released at the same time. Additionally, the three colorways are simply just not that appealing to look at versus, say, the all-white version or the insanely-hyped "zebra" colorway. Of the set, the "copper" colorway also meshes the least with the rest of West's vision for his Yeezy Boost line. Like the "copper" colorway, the green doesn't fit in as well with other Yeezy Boost styles or the Yeezy clothing line.

Kanye West's first low-top silhouette for Adidas, the Yeezy Boost , came in colorways that set the tone for West's dusty, military-inspired color palette. Now that we have a whole spectrum of Yeezy Boosts, the Moonrock colorway feels like the least exciting and washed out green isn't exactly the most flattering hue.

The black upper on a white midsole makes this version of the Dons feel more like a regular tennis sneaker, which in turn makes them the most wearable of the set. The only Louis Vuitton Don style to feature a full suede upper, this version was the peak of sleekness and luxury or at least as sleek as the sci-fi-inspired kicks could be.

Released just after the Moonrocks in late , the tan Yeezy s were an instant hit, but aesthetically speaking were also one of the more basic Yeezy colorways to hit the market. They're still in high demand, but not as much of a flex as other Yeezy releases.

The all-white Dons were one of the most sought after L. All-white kicks always draw more attention from sneakerheads as they represent the peak of treating kicks like pieces of fine art. The Nike Air Yeezy 1, which released just a few months prior to West's Louis Vuitton collab, kicked off his hot streak of sneaker collaborations in and also marked the beginning of West's tenuous relationship with the Swoosh.

Seen here in tan, which was third and final Air Yeezy 1 released, this colorway was also the least appealing of the bunch. One of the simpler Yeezy Boost colorways and the closest we've gotten so far to an all-black V2.

They're clean, but not as eye-catching as other Yeezy Boost releases since then. The Yeezy Boost —West's first official collaboration with Adidas—is a sneaker that hits on all levels of standout kicks in Made of premium materials, comfortable, and unique, it's a shoe that's recognizable from a mile way.

West's design aesthetic has been grounded in utility for years now, and glow in the dark is simply gimmicky. The first Yeezy Boost V2 set the tone for the shoe's next evolution in not only design but also color schemes. Featuring a knit striped upper and bold stripe, this Yeezy Boost is bold, stylish, and builds upon the groundwork created by the V1. But it also served as a lesson for the Yeezy Boost line as it doesn't feature a back tab, a detail that has proved its importance not only to the function of the shoe, but the aesthetics, too.

As you can see from the tweets below, the resemblance is actually quite uncanny. Regardless of these comments, people are still going to buy these and Ye is going to make a whole lot of money. Stay tuned for release details on these, as we will be sure to bring that to you.
